Update re: Retro Pay Timing

Greetings,

As per my numerous emails to PRSD’s Secretary-Treasurer, requesting the retro pay date for all Support Staff, it has always been reiterated that it would be in April and that I would be notified of any date changes. I inquired again this morning and now the Secretary-Treasurer has stated that “due to the number of storm days that have occurred in the past few weeks and with the facilities being closed, the payroll department is working hard to catch up. They are doing everything possible to alleviate their backlog and they were working overtime to catch up. They do not want to provide a payment date until they know exactly when it will occur.”

I hope this helps to alleviate some concerns although it is not the answer we were hoping to receive.

Please direct any of your personal concerns regarding your retro pay to the
Secretary-Treasurer, Rhonda Smith at rsmith@g.prsdmb.ca or 204-745-2003.

Thank you,

Tracey Stephen
