Good morning,

Labour Day is just over one week away, and I wanted to reach out to you all to share a few events, and invite you, your families, and friends to join CUPE Manitoba at the following events:

The Winnipeg Labour Council Annual Picnic in Memorial Park is taking place on Labour Day, Sept. 7th from 3-5pm. Poster attached. 

The Brandon and District Labour Council Annual Picnic is taking place at Stanley Park on Labour Day, Sept. 7th from 11:30am – 3pm. 

 The events will include activities for families, workers and children! CUPE Manitoba will have a tent at both events to share the Children’s Activity books, resources, Choose CUPE materials, and worker solidarity!

If you would like to help out at either tent (Winnipeg or Brandon), volunteers from the Board and Committees are welcome. Please express your interest by Thursday, September 3rd, to info@cupe.mb.ca. We will get in touch with volunteers by Friday to discuss details for each event.

 Also, the Winnipeg Labour Council is looking for help with the event! I would like to offer a few of us if anyone would like to join. Please let us know if you can lend a hand.
