Good afternoon, my divisional meeting has been postponed.

The Superintendent will advise the committee of an alternate date.

As of today, your Executive has had no further news of any job related
lay offs or repurposing.

Please continue to contact your Union, your Supervisor or the Superintendent for any further support.

Stay safe and we wish you all good health.

Thank you,

Tracey Stephen

You can continue to submit your replies before Tuesday morning (April 13th) as I have a meeting with the Division on Tuesday, April 14th at 4:00. I will update any changes via our website

The Executive has postponed our Windup. The new date for supper at the Downs will be Saturday, September 19th. That is the last date for racing and we will be reimbursed our deposit if we need to cancel that date.

Your Executive is continuing to work collaboratively with PRSD on all support staffs behalf.

Message from the President…

As per my Divisional meeting today, they are not at a point of any divisional lay offs for all support staff. The Province is recommending to all Divisions that we try to keep as many employees employed with meaningful and purposeful work.

Trevor will handle the bus drivers recommendations, Claude will continue with the custodians and the Principals will be responsible for the remainder of the support staff.
You will receive clear direction(s) from your immediate supervisor once the Division has made a change in your job scope.

Mr. Osiowy’s message to all of our support staff is they are doing everything they can to work together for the betterment of our communities.

Our Collective Agreements will continue to be respected.

Please note: all CUPE Education courses have been cancelled until September.

Your Executive will continue to work on your behalf in your best interest.

Please stay safe

Thank you,

Tracey Stephen
President

A Message From the President

Good evening, there has been numerous concerns regarding Lorna Last’s email today stating that your ROE will be uploaded to the Service Canada website after the pay date of April 15, 2020. I have received clarification from Joanne Johnston (HR) that this is for the 10 month employees that claim EI over the holidays (ie: Spring Break).

There is no more code given from the Division for support staff to insert at the time of filing their EI. Their ROE’s go directly to Service Canada.

At this time, the Union does not have a definite answer regarding the outcome
after April 10th.

I am diligently working with the Division on work, wage and benefits continuance.
I will keep all members updated via our website. Your Executive is also available or any support staff can contact their Supervisor or the Superintendent.

Thank you for your patience and take care,

Tracey Stephen
President
