Our Members work in or out of nine community schools, one Adult Education Center, two school bus maintenance garages and sixteen Hutterite Colony Schools. We keep our schools clean and SAFE. We assist our students in and out of our classrooms as each student’s needs are different. We represent our schools on the front lines in the front offices of our schools to parents and the community. We promote literacy in our libraries, before, during and after school. We maintain our Wireless Wide Area Network and provide technical support throughout our division. We safely transport our students to and from nine community schools between St. Laurent in the North to Roland/Miami in the South as well as providing logistical support to Dufferin Christian School in Carman. We also maintain this fleet of school buses and a number of Operation Department vehicles.
CUPE 4701 represents Custodial staff, Educational Assistants, Secretaries, Library Technicians, Computer Technicians, and School Bus Drivers in the following schools and communities:
